Some fellow bloggers asked me on how to deal with the problem of getting ideas. Well, this problem of getting ideas or sometimes called bloggers block is the normal thing that we will face when creating a post. Believe it or not, a blogger is a writer where we need ideas in creating new and unique posts for our sites.
I had published an article on creating ideas for your blog last year where I shared the methods that I use in creating ideas. However, the methods sometimes not working and I have to find another way to solve the problem.
One day I faced the same problem and instead of creating posts, I surfed through my own site and went through the older posts. Then I found a lot of posts that can be elaborated to create new posts. That’s it! A simple but effective solution came into my mind – read your archives!
Reading through your archives has many advantages and you will know more of them while going through them one by one. In fact a post can give you idea to create other 2-3 posts depend on the content of your older posts. You might want to explore more of your content and one thing that amazed me is I feel like never creating the posts that I wrote in the past! So reading your archives is also a way to appreciate your works back then.
If you want to make the elaboration clearer, elaborate the ideas and points through mind-mapping method so you can make the points visible and it might bring you to another unique idea!
I suggested this method to my friends who asked me about this problem and some of them managed to solve the problem and even become amazed of the new articles that come out from the method.

This is a good idea! I will definitely have to look back at my own blog archives. The same could also work for blogs that you follow–there are likely posts there too that could be elaborated on or your own spin.
Looking back into Archives always work. It also tells me what my readers like. I can write a article similar to what people like.
