    As the global community confronts the COVID 19 pandemic, bloggers have the opportunity to help people in finding reliable information, connect with each other, and track what is happening in real time other than the central roles played by experts, NGOs and governments in the public service to reach people when they need the right information.

    The pandemic has results in the community to live in hazardous and difficult environments thus there is no greater need for support than for bloggers to help in dealing with the global pandemic by sharing information and awareness based on facts. By doing this – bloggers can play an important role in responding to the needs of our community. Community life is vital for health and well-being and we all recognize the value of social connectedness, neighborliness, belonging, control and mutual trust. Thus it is crucial to facilitate these conditions for communities to flourish.

    Today, through the wonder of Internet, bloggers can share reliable tips and resources to keep people connected to their friends, family, colleagues and communities and to prevent the spread of misinformation. The response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) has shown the contribution communities can make to public health thus providing people with platforms to receive the latest news, information, resources and tips to stay healthy and support their family and community to stay well-informed through the pandemic.

    The experts also emphasize the value of using community talk as a tool to address the mental health problems caused by the COVID 19 Pandemic, which can lead to unhealthy coping habits in the community. Thus by changing the way individuals, families and communities interact with each other, we can maintain our commitment to respond to the new challenges in our communities. Bloggers can help to organize virtual discussions, forums and community talks on various daily issues in order to, at least, helping community to cope with mental health possible problems.

    We are all concerned about how families and communities will cope with the current public health crisis and we are seeing a lot of queues at food banks and so on. Other than raising awareness pertaining to the pandemic, one of the best ways for bloggers to get involved is to start a fundraiser or promoting the available running fundraisers. The availability of today’s digital banking makes this effort possible in a rapid way.

    The Covid-19 pandemic has given a lot of people the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of community and to meet more people virtually where in the past it would have taken much longer to do so, be it to find the time to meet in person or hours of travel somewhere else. This is a a great opportunity for bloggers to support the many amazing people who volunteer because they do the work that’s important to them to improve their communities and change their lives.

    For bloggers – A few hours can make a big difference to someone out there in this challenging time.
