Earlier I had asked the readers who is involved in blogging on this simple question – how do you define yourself as a blogger?
17 people had contributed to give response to this poll. Thanks a lot! And the current result as this post is published is:
Full-time blogger 6%
Part-time blogger 56%
Blogging for cash 13%
Blogging as hobby 19%
Assignment 0%
Occasionally blogging 6%
So what can we conclude from this current result?
Although only 17 persons involved in this poll, we can make some conclusions through assumptions and analysis on the result.
The bigger portion of the voters defined themselves as the part-time blogger as most persons doing blogging job as part-time beside their permanent job. Yes, blogging gives income but I guess at some stages a permanent job is crucial in order to survive and to continue blogging for buying hosting, domains, services, etc.) Some bloggers are students (like me), and we cannot focus only on blogging for most of our time as study consumes most of our daily time. But the blogging activities is a must thing to do. And that’s it. People in this group become part-time blogger.
The second most popular group is the people who blogging as hobby, followed by them who blogging for cash, and the less popular choice, full-time blogger and them who occasionally blogging. Being a full-time blogger needs a good stand to guarantee your income and yes, being a problogger is something nice that we would want to be.
If you don’t take part in the poll yet, you can say your vote here.
I’ll update the result later. Thanks for those who participating in the poll!
Happy blogging!

I’m in that 56%. I just do blogging part time because I focus to other job such as freelancing and networking. 😉
Part time now -> full time in the near future. Hope so… 🙂
