I often heard some friends keep saying about their own approach and way of determination when we are going to the new year. I want to be this. I want to be better and etc. Sometimes I like to compare these somewhat motivation words to my blogging performance through these simple questions.
- Is the traffic increasing?
- Is the earnings increasing?
- Am I got enough satisfaction?
I wonder how much questions that I will get if I go into details for this but as a person who is still exploring in this amazing blogging world, I think these three questions are enough for me.
The current traffic for my site is not satisfying. Based on the information from Statbrain, BloggerDaily got about 4,613 visits per day. I’m not sure about the accuracy of the result but in some points I believe it reflects the average daily visits. The current ranking for Alexa as I’m writing this article is 634,010. Guess I can do something to improve this.
As I consider myself as someone who is still amateur in blogging, I’m not targeting for a lot of earnings as the main phase supposed to be the development of the blog in term of niche and content. Currently I could generate 50USD for every two weeks. It’s good but I’m looking forward to get more.
In fact blogging is a hobby that could give me enough satisfaction. I feel satisfy to write and publish something on the site and then the readers will give their comments related to the topics. Although the comments are not much as popular blogs but I feel satisfy to share and discuss with the others because for me that’s what blogging supposed to be.
Blogging is awesome and yes we need proper steps and stages in order to properly growing our blogs. A good thing to do is improving our sites and exploring new things about blogging so we could make our site better from time to time.
Welcome 2010 and Happy New Year!
